Our Associate Board Members

Catherine Bradley Richmond, “b” is a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider (YACEP), a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, an active Rocky Mountain Professional Ski Instructor (PSIA LV 3 Alpine and Nordic Downhill, Children’s Specialist) for 27 years, and a certified US Ski and Snowboard Association Coach.  She recently became a USA Yoga coach and passionately hopes to work with other board members to bring yoga competition to the Olympic Level.

Her goal to inform, educate and market USA Yoga as a unifying organization that creates harmony within the sport and science of yoga through the discipline of exact yoga postures stems from a background in kinesiology and sport's science.  Her hometown of Crested Butte, Colorado (population 2,500) located at 9,000 feet has many world-class athletes, two of whom are Olympic athletes (Aaron Blunk and Emma Coburn).

The three things she yearns to contribute are; recruiting more youth athletes, creating athlete-centered training that helps to bring laughter and fun into the pain and suffering, while prioritizing correct postures and spinal alignment, and finally, perseverance despite all odds, to raise awareness of the extraordinary qualities yoga asana develops that can help to heal the planet as well as the individual body, mind and spirit.

“Imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as success and talents and I lay them both at his feet”     -Ghandi

“Have more mental strength, don’t be afraid of suffering. Keep your mind positive and strong.  It is your inner experience that is most important.”  -Paramahana Yogananda

Jordan Hendler Dorn – The founder of Admin Concepts, Inc. and a second-generation association and conference manager. Her passion and focus professionally is for finding administrative solutions, for both associations and small businesses, while also lending time for non-profit work.

Personally, she finds family life of utmost importance, with a personal balance of maintaining a yoga practice. She is married to her husband Barry with whom she has three children. She enjoys her family time together; traveling, going to movies or even riding dirt bikes.

She has been practicing yoga, for about 7 years with Bikram Yoga Richmond, under Garland Hume whom she respects and adores. This competition year was her first, and she was so thrilled to be able to participate at the Central/North Regionals with her studio team who are so supportive. It was such a personally enriching experience, and she hopes that her contributions to USA Yoga will help others to find the same.  She enjoys working with non-profit organizations as a profession, so she is happy to be helping the USAY Marketing Committee to reach their larger world community.

Jordan helps the board with Press Releases and general PR advice.
